By accessing and using the Law Enforcement Incident Reporting System (LEIR), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using this system's particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.

2. Description of Service

LEIR provides a digital platform for citizens to report incidents, track their status, and communicate with local law enforcement and barangay officials. The service is intended to facilitate the "Katarungang Pambarangay" process and improve community safety.

3. User Registration and Security

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Maintain the security of your password and 4-digit PIN.
  • Accept all risks of unauthorized access to the Registration Data and any other information you provide.
  • Notify us immediately if you discover or suspect any security breaches related to the Service.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Submit false or misleading reports.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person.
  • Upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

Warning: Filing a false report is a serious offense and may result in legal action under applicable laws.

5. Privacy Policy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.

6. Limitation of Liability

The LEIR System and its administrators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use of or inability to use the service.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
